Timeline.az is an open platform that brings marketing, HR and business services together in one place. This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it and how we protect it. Data is processed in line with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Personal Data”.

1. What data we collect

Account data: name, email, account type (company, individual professional, employer, user). Passwords are never stored in plain text, only in encrypted form.
Profile data: company or professional name, services, city, phone, WhatsApp, website, social media links, address, logo, images and portfolio work.
Content you post: reviews, tenders and bids, job posts, feed posts and comments.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, time of login. Banner impressions and clicks are counted as totals and are not linked to individual people.

Some company profiles are added from public sources (the company’s own website and social media) and are shown with the “Not verified” badge. Profiles of individual professionals are only created by the professionals themselves.

2. Why we use data

to create and protect your account;
to show your profile in the directory and to run search and ratings;
to run tenders, job posts and bids;
to send you important notifications (email confirmation, password reset, tender updates);
to prevent fake accounts, fake reviews and spam;
to keep aggregate statistics that help us improve the platform.

We do not sell your data and do not share it with others for advertising.

3. Who sees what

Profile pages, reviews, open tenders, job posts and feed posts are public.
A tender owner’s contact details are only revealed to the vendors they shortlist or select.
Your email is not shown to other users unless you add it to your profile as a contact.

4. Who data is shared with

Your data is processed only by the service providers the platform needs to run (hosting, email delivery). Data is disclosed to public authorities only where the law requires it.

5. Cookies

We only use cookies for your login session, form security and your chosen language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. How long we keep data

Data is kept while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days. Data that the law requires us to keep (for example, payment records) is kept for the period the law sets.

7. Your rights

You can see, correct and ask us to delete your data at any time. You can edit your profile yourself in your account. For any other request, write to info@timeline.az; we reply within 10 working days.

If a profile about you was added from public sources and you want it removed or corrected, write to us.

8. Security

Passwords are stored in encrypted form, the site works over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the admin panel is restricted.

9. Age limit

The platform is for professionals and companies. People under 18 may not create an account.

10. Changes

When this policy changes, the new version is published on this page and the date above is updated. We notify registered users of significant changes by email.
